Talon Range Bag

Designed in-house by Ready Up Gear for shooters who carry everything they need to the range.

Ready Up Gear designed the TRB for the best user experience. It was field-tested through real range use, and refined with a series of upgrades based on that testing. The result is a range bag built around how shooters actually pack, carry, and organize their gear.

Carrying comfort was a priority. The Talon features a reinforced, padded shoulder strap with upgraded clips and a reinforced carry handle—built to stay comfortable even when the bag is fully loaded. The bottom is padded and reinforced, as are the sides, so the bag holds its shape and protects its contents under a heavy load.

Every zipper and pull tab is upgraded for smooth, durable operation, finished in red for high-visibility contrast that makes each zipper easy to locate. The main compartment includes a lockable zipper for added security when needed.

Organization is built in throughout. A front pocket keeps small essentials accessible—batteries, ear plugs, markers, notepads, and training rounds. A dedicated magazine pocket features layered elastic straps for stacking multiple mags. A separate pocket handles cleaning and maintenance gear, spare hardware, and optic screws. An adjustable water bottle pocket—uncommon on range bags—keeps hydration within reach, and an additional strapped side pocket fits a shot timer, extra magazines, or accessories.

Inside, a padded, reinforced top flap folds completely out of the way and protects the interior when items are stacked on top of the bag. The spacious main compartment is built as a two-gun bag, with a padded, reinforced sleeve on each side that closes with a Velcro strap to keep two firearms protected and scratch-free. Beyond the guns, there's ample room for ammunition, cleaning kits, tools, magazines, and range accessories.

The Talon is ideally sized for one or two shooters packing a full day's range gear. It's a personal-use range bag rather than a high-capacity bag for instructors transporting large quantities of firearms and equipment.
